YO JOE Fans! Here are some sample pages from my 24 page G.I. JOE comic (written and drawn by yours truly). G.I.JOE Backyard Missions is a play on the classic Special Missions run. In the first arc of the story, B.A.T.S All Folks, Cobra is up to something BIG, literally. The Joe’s head out on a recon to find out what Cobra is up to in the Florida Everglades. Low-Light, Bazooka, and Beach Head find themselves getting a little in over their heads. Action ensues, and Cobra seems to get the upper hand, for now.

As a kid from the 80's, Saturday morning and afternoon cartoons were just part of being a kid. I was one of the lucky ones who just couldn't get enough. G.I.JOE was my obsession from 1982 - 1987. Drawing these characters today takes me back to those treasured days of the G.I. Joe afternoon cartoon, their Marvel Comic run and of course the Hasbro toy line that I couldn’t get enough of.
